How do I claim events, profiles, or other directory assets that already exist?

First Step

If your organization, venue, or even events are already listed on Now Playing Utah, please ask around at your organization first, to see whether someone else already has access to these items.

If you know what email address it is connected to and can access it, you will be able to reset your password here.

Second Step

If you do not have access to a previous account, then contact our team, and let us know:

  1. Your role at the organization
  2. Whether you have already checked for other accounts
  3. If your organization has previously used other names or email addresses

Next, Our Team Will…

Our team may request to verify your connection to the organization if we cannot clearly ascertain your identity and connection from your email address (i.e. your email is sent from the same domain as your organization’s website, etc.).

Our team may also do an internal search of accounts and request that you attempt a password reset on an existing account, before reassigning these assets to your new account (assuming you have access to the associated email address). If you’ve already tried this, make sure to let us know about any of these attempts when you reach out to speed up the process.

We want to minimize the creation of new or superfluous accounts, as this puts additional strain on our resources by bloating our database.

If All Else Fails…

Assuming we’ve verified your connection to the organization and determined no other account is accessible, we will ask you to create a new account.

  1. Create a new account here.
  2. Please securely note your login credentials for future use.
  3. Securely share these login credentials with at least one team member (another employee or board member) who can access the account in case of emergency or succession.
  4. Email us back and let our team know the email address connected to your new account.
  5. Our team we reassign any relevant events, organization profiles, venues, or other pertinent directory assets to your new account.

Boom! Access granted!
